Two New Audio Poems

I’m very excited to announce two new audio poems up over at Beir Bua Journal. I hope you will take the time to not only check out my pieces, but everything that Beir Bua Journal and Beir Bua Press are up to! This wonderful experimental press out of Ireland is doing some amazing work and I look forward to having some poems featured with them later this year! I’d also suggest subscribing to their YouTube as well so you don’t miss a thing.

Two New Poems

I have two new poems up in the new issue of the excellent French journal Pro/p(r)ose! It is a pleasure to once again be featured in this magazine, and have the opportunity for my work to receive exposure internationally. Their journal is definitely worth checking out if you are fluent in French, or like me, modestly trying to learn. I hope you’ll check out my new poems.

I am very eager to be featured in more French journals, both in English and in translation. I am also interested in re-issuing previous chapbooks in French. Editors or translators out there feel free to get in touch, or point me in the right direction.

An Accidental Period Of Time

I have a new album over at The Awareness Factory titled An Accidental Period Of Time a short six song collection ranging from noise to ambient sounds. This is the first digital solo album I’ve put up in quite some time, so I hope you’ll dig it. As always, all albums are available for streaming or download and priced as ‘pay what you want’. I’m excited to be experimenting with sounds again as I emerge from my hibernation. I’m extremely interested in compilations and splits, so feel free to contact me!

I’d be remiss not to remind everyone that my newest chapbook, Automation, Man! Bold Machines is still available on Amazon and priced around six bucks. I hope you’ll check it out, and as always, your support is extremely appreciated!

Automation, Man! (Bold Machines)

I’m proud to announce that my newest chapbook is out now from Sweat Drenched Press! Autmation, Man! (Bold Machines) is a collection of poems centered around the machines, factories, and technological singularity. Many of the poems have been published here and there, but have finally been brought together for the first time as one collection. My last few chapbooks have centered on text, so this is my first poetry collection in years and I am quite proud of it. It is available now and you can pick it up here!

I hope you all will consider checking it out, and maybe even consider writing a review. Also consider supporting more artists from Sweat Drenched Press, a new press well worth keeping an eye on.

Out now from Analog Submission Press is my newest chapbook, Subliminal Syntax. Handmade and limited to 25 copies, the publisher describes it as “an 18 page feast of cut-up prose and syntactical deconstruction.”

This is my first chapbook in quite sometime and I’m very proud of it! I hope you’ll pick up a copy today!

New Chap coming In The New Year

While I’ve been lying low and generally being apathetic, time has simply flown by. I’m realizing that my last chapbook released online was 2013… and my last actual print chapbook was way back in 2009! Luckily, it seems my decade of apathy is coming to a close. My next chapbook, Subliminal Syntax is due for a February release from Analog Submission Press.

Feels good to be back in my old skin. Here’s to a productive 2019!

Blk/Mas @SPNF 2017

Last night, Blk/Mas took part in the landmark 10th annual St. Pete Noise Fest. I’ve been lucky enough to be included many times in the last ten years, and last nights show was yet another stellar showcase of challenging sounds. This years edition took place at Cage Brewing, an hip little craft brewery in a thriving downtown…. right across from Haslams Bookstore (a huge and highly recommended bookstore that the late Jack Kerouac himself frequented, and some even believe he still haunts). We were lucky enough to check out sets from Vasectomy Party, Hell Garbage, Durastatic, Whitey Alabastard, as well as discover several others new acts.

It’s been a fun decade, here’s to ten more!
